Saturday, July 31, 2027 | St. Nicholas Landmark | Chester, IL
Fifty years ago, something happened over Chester, Illinois. On August 2, 1977, the skies above the Mississippi River bluffs sparked a story that's never fully been told, mostly because no one can quite remember it.
We're here to change that.
Join us at the St. Nicholas Landmark for a one-of-a-kind celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Chester UFO incident, a day of intergalactic music, out-of-this-world food and drinks, local vendors, and a panel discussion on the events of that fateful night that we're still piecing together.
Come party like it's August 2, 1977.
Intergalactic Music all night long
Out-of-This-World Food & Drinks from the bar and kitchen
Vendor Market (Reach out if you’re interested in selling your wares)!
Panel Discussion What really happened that night? (Spoiler: no one agrees.)
Whether you're a lifelong believer, a healthy skeptic, or just here for the vibes and the drinks, this is the event Southern Illinois didn't know it needed.
More details to come. Watch the skies and our social media!
